Include INS in Grants

INS leadership encourages members and other researchers in the field of neuroethics to consider satisfying your grant outreach and education requirements with a presentation, workshop, plenary, or other activity at an upcoming INS Annual Meeting. For the upcoming BRAIN Initiative RFA (R01) and other future applications, consider adapting and including the following language in your grant.

"We will submit the findings from our study/project to be presented at the annual meeting of the International Neuroethics Society (INS). INS is an interdisciplinary group of scholars, scientists, clinicians and other professionals who share an interest in the social, legal, ethical and policy implications of advances in neuroscience. {Options of what you intend to propose – e.g., workshop, plenary, short communication or poster.}

By sharing results with the members of the INS and key stakeholders, and engaging thought leaders and emerging scholars, we will deepen the collective dialogue consistent with the call for neuroethics research as part of the Brain Initiative."

The INS Program Committee distributes calls for abstracts and ideas each Spring and we encourage you to submit your proposals as part of those calls, or at any time by emailing [email protected]. If awarded grant includes the INS, please let us know. We hope to share news of your success and results with international members and neuroethics leaders. Best of luck!
